Aroon, Aroon, Arooooon - Details of the February Meeting | Monday 23rd January 2012

This month the Merseyside Local Group is celebrating forty years of the planet Peladon and the assorted adventures associated with it. From the Doctor's original visits with Jo and Sarah-Jane in the seventies, its always been a popular destination leading to return visits, firstly in the Virgin New Adventures and then in Big Finish's main range and The Companion Chronicles.

Who can't have a soft spot for Peladon, hardly the garden spot of the universe, but these are the stories that gave us the old venusian lullaby "Close Your Eyes My Darling, Well Three Of Them At Least!"

This is also the month that about a dozen of us will be joining Little Atom Productions for A Conversation with Paul McGann. (http://www.facebook.com/events/240301899367467/) Tickets are still available and may be available on the door, but these events have sold out in the past we can't guarantee it.

Things will kick off at the MLG at 1pm on the 4th of February. Find us in the upstairs function room at the palatial Cross Keys, Earle Street. Subs for the meeting are a pound as always.
