BASEMENT JACS

Originally launched under the name "At the JAC" in 2001 (and thankfully renamed to take advantage of a famous popular beat combo and the fact that the MLG then (as now) meet in the basement bar of the world-famous Jacaranda bar in Liverpool) this newsletter of the MLG ran with only minor breaks for conventions and other unforseen occurences until 2006 and held up a mirror to the group (albeit the kind of distorted mirror you find in a fairground). Regular highlights include 'Sleaze For No Reason', the mutterings and pub guides of Mark "Wesley-Wyndham" Woods and the 'Bob Investigates...' series featuring long-term member Bob Stanley being set a subject of the month by other members of the group.
